Lac Etchemin, Québec --- CSC5

Beautiful Lake Etchemin is situated in the Bauce region, some 40 nm South-East of Québec City airport.

On this airfield, I have used mostly all my own new macros. This is new to me, but I am having a ball. When you visit the farm near the field, be happy that Bill has not found a way to add scent to our simulator.

I wish to thank John de Langristin for the beetle and the old car that I used to make my yellow. blue and red versions. I thank also Jordan Moore for his farm animals and also Jim Jackson (Northern Exposure) for his picnic tables and campfire. I thank Larry Farmer for his nice trees, Lauren Robison for the use of some of her sounds. Thanks also to Tom Fica for his dock and nice flatbed truck, old fuel barrels and the rowboat and Steve Myers for his nice Gysy Moth.

I must not forget Tom Hiscox and Brian McWilliams for the program and textures "Airport for Windows" and also Matthias Brückner for the program EOD which I used to make my macros.

I also owe big thanks to Jerry Kemp and Tom Constantine for testing the beta versions of this scenery.

I hope I did not forget anyone. If so, I am deeply sorry and please send me a note.

This scenery has been tested in both FS2002 and 2004 and nothing herein should damage your computer or its contents. However, should you use these files, you do so at your own risk.

These files cannot be posted for download on any site asking for money for downloads or where you have to be a paying member to download. Also, nothing contained herein can be used on any file or download where money is exchanged in anyway.

I do not make money with these files nor should anyone else.

Known issues. I made this scenery in FS2002 using the recommended mesh herein. With a different set-up (FS2002 or 2004), you MAY notice some items floating in the air but outside the airfield only. It is impossible to cover all the possibilities. Still, it is rare and most of time not noticeable from the air.

Also, you may if you get close to the hangar in particular notice some bleeding of exterior colors like the sky around the lamps. Same with the cieling of the barn if you look at it at a very low angle. Call it a glitch in the program if you like. I cannot fix this, but again, if I had not mentioned it you might have never noticed it. I talk too much.

To install these, you should have installed my Québec Short Hops 1. It will still work if you do not have it, but you are on your own and you will not get your gaz coupons at the pumps.

To obtain the file, simply make a search where you downloaded this file. Put "Leon Louis" in author name, click search and get more goodies at the same time.

I have added a copy of Quebec Short Hops 1 Read Me in case you need to refer to it.

Also and VERY IMPORTANT is "QSH Must Have Items", a list of the files required to complete these sceneries.
